Fill in the Blank Friday

1.  The highlight of my week was  realizing that Mr. Skinny really will be able to be there for me in labor, and that he actually listens when I go on and on about what I'd like.

2.   If I had to classify my interior design aesthetic it would be  country, is that an interior design aesthetic?

3.  My first vehicle was  oh, my 1992 blue GMC Jimmy - Big Bertha. I killed her when I pulled out in front of someone though my junior year in HS.

4. An item I need to have in my day in order to function is  my cell phone probably. Or chapstick. Or my water bottle...

5. My favorite way to waste time is on Facebook, playing solitaire, or just poking around the computer.

6. Right now I could really go for  panera. That has been my pregnancy craving lately. Panera salads. Mmm.

7.  This weekend I will be  helping Mr. Skinny finish up the room so we can organize it for the baby!

1.  I started my blog because  I needed something to keep me accountable while I was trying to loose weight. Now though, I have a feeling it's going to more of a Mommy blog - hope you don't mind!

2.   One thing I love seeing on other blogs  people overcoming obstacles or reaching a dream that they've had for a long time.

3.  Something I love about blogging  seeing myself change over the time I've  had a blog, as well as what I was feeling when things happened and where I was in my life at a particular time.

4. A favorite blog post of mine is probably  I have no idea. My blog is more a diary of my life. I guess my pregnancy updates are my favorite right now. 

5. Something my friends in real life know about me that I've never before mentioned on my blog is I don't think I have any secrets, well I'm sure I do, but nothing that I purposely keep separate on my blog.

6.  My new favorite blogs to read are pregnancy blogs and mommy blogs. Hope no one is surprised at that! 

7.  Some things I tend to avoid doing on my blog are posting controversial topics and posts, or posting an extremely negative post.

Fill in the Blank Friday

1.   If money wasn't an issue, the first thing I'd cross of my life list is traveling the world, or paying off my debt, but I guess if money wasn't an issue than I guess I'd have no debt. Or, I'd have a ton of kids, and be a foster mom.

2.  Um, everything. But maybe put tartar sauce on my buttered noodles and broccoli is something I like that other people think is weird.

3.  If my life were a movie right now, the title would be  Knocked Up. Bahaha!

4.  Three things I am looking forward to this month are nothing really. Today is the anniversary of Pop Pop's death, so I don't think I have anything to look forward to. 

5.  My favorite song to sing in the shower is I can't pick one, I do love singing in the shower though.

6.  If I found out that the production of   Strawberry Chapstick  was ending this month, I'd go out and buy as much as I could tomorrow.

7.  One thing I'll never grow tired of is  going to Walt Disney World.

1.   My favorite place i've ever traveled to is Walt Disney World. No, it never gets old and I would go back all the time.

2.  Italy  is somewhere I'd love to go someday.

3.  I pass the time on a plane (or bus, or car ride or train) by  reading, talking, maybe listening to music.

4.  My three must-haves when I travel are  iPhone  , a ton of clothes and my husband. 

5.  My favorite travel companion is  my husband, or my mom.

6.  The craziest thing that ever happened to me while traveling is crying because my plans were foiled in Disney World. Seriously, but that was my fault.

7.  The most exotic food I've ever tried while traveling is  African food at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I'm not even sure what I ate while I was there, but that was definitely the most exotic.

8.  If I could live anywhere else, I'd live in Orlando. That way I could be closer to Disney World.

9.  I have been to  18 

states in the U.S. New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Montana, Illinois, North Dakota, Colorado, and Ohio.

11 Random Things About Me:


1. I still sleep with my blankie, and probably always will until it has so many holes in it that I can't anymore. 
2. I hate controversy, it gets me really uncomfortable when I'm involved in it.
3. I think snakes are fascinating, but I am super afraid of seeing them in real life. 
4. I am planning on turning into a 19th century housewife, complete with cloth diapers and wipes, making my own baby food, growing my own food and possibly even homeschooling. 
5. I don't have a favorite genre of music, I'll listen to anything I know - country, 90s music, Christian, pop - but I can't stand rap unless it reminds me of something specific like 8th grade dances.
6. I don't like the taste or texture of avocados or beans (except for green and wax beans).
7. I am super emotional.
8. I've never seen a horror movie and never plan to, I get scared wayyyy to easily for those.
9. I was a cheerleader for 10 years and yes, it IS a sport. 
10. The only people who truly see all my emotions, ups and down are my husband and my mom.
11. I really want to do a triathlon at some point in my life, along with run the Disney Princess half marathon and a full marathon in Disney World.

2. What would your dream job be? Stay at home mom, counting down to May!
3. What is your favorite TV show that you don’t really want to admit? Any of the Kardashian shows or Teen Mom/Teen Mom 2.
4. If you have siblings- do you get along?  Yep, one brother and we've always gotten along well, I think mostly because we were the only one we each had to talk to about growing up with Deaf parents.
5. What is an annoying habit someone in your household has? My brother doesn't respect my parents and that's frustrating. But that's part of him being an 18 year old boy.
6.  Were you ever grounded as a child? If so what did you do? I remember being grounded once, but I can't remember why.
7. When you hang a roll of toilet paper does the TP go over or under? Goes over. I can't stand using TP that goes under. 
8. Is it Soda or Pop? or Soda Pop? Soda. It took me forever to realize what pop was!
9. Out of all the places you've been while on vacation what has been your favorite and why? Disney World mostly because of the magic of the place. Everyone's happy and gets along and you can be a kid again.
10. What was the last movie you watched in the theater? The Lion King in 3D, hoping to see Beauty and the Beast before that's not in theaters anymore.
11. What one food that you could not live without? Right now? Cheese. Seriously, I put 2 pieces on my sandwich and eat 2 cheese sticks a day. I'm obsessed, but baby will have healthy bones.

Fill In The Blank Friday, Vol. 3.

1.   The last thing I ate was  oatmeal with peanut butter, nuts (pecans, almonds & walnuts) and strawberries mixed in.

2.   The last song I listened to was most likely something on my 90s station on Sirius XM :)

3.  Using the letters in my name I can spell (I hate these) Megan - gem, nag, meg, an, age, gam... and that's all I can see. 

4.  If I had to dress in one color for the rest of my life I would pick  my first pink would be pink, but I don't know how nice I'd look in pink at like 75 years old, so I'd probably go with a neutral color, which is really boring, but makes the most sense. Brown, maybe?

5.  If you were to look in my bag right now you'd find  my wallet, hand sanitizer, lotion, earrings, Harry Potter wand/pen (don't judge), earbuds.

6.  When I finish filling in the blanks I'm going to probably fool around on the computer for a little while longer before I have to get dressed and make lunch.

7.  My all time favorite song to dance to is  I can't pick just one. Something fun and upbeat.

Welcome to Vol. 2 of Fill in the Blank Friday! I'm hoping to do these more regularly, but that probably won't happen until after the holidays, which is only a few weeks away! Eek! I need to finish up my Christmas shopping!

1.   My most favorite "little thing" is  cuddling with Mr. Skinny after a long day and watching a movie together or just cracking jokes and laughing together.

2.  I can't believe  I'm going to be a mom in about 5 months, give or take a few weeks!

3. The one thing I'd like to achieve today is  to get through work so I can come home and enjoy the weekend!

4.  The last thing I want to do today is  go to work, but I know I have to. Boo.

5.  If I were writing my own blank today, it would say: I can't wait for Christmas!

6.  My favorite candle scent is  definitely either lavender or lilac. Or beach walk from Yankee Candle.

Fill In The Blank Friday.

I've seen a couple bloggers do these little fill in the blank things on Friday, and now that my 10 week challenge is over, I needed something else to do on Fridays, and this seems perfect!

On a side note let me say that my pregnancy acne is terrible! Holy cow! I put make up on for the first time in months because I'm so self conscious about it. I'd take a picture, but I won't do that do you. This is reminiscent of my teenage years acne and at least I could take prescription pills and use prescription face wash and stuff to get rid of it. Then I loved my face when I was on birth control and now it's just terrible! This baby better be a girl and she better be gorgeous the way she's making my face look. :)

Fill in the Blank Friday:


1. A nervous habit I have is: well, I don't get nervous frequently, and when I do, I don't tend to bite my nails or twirl my hair. I try to pray, but I don't know if that's a habit...? I might blush, though, I guess that's it. I do bite my nails, but that's not when I'm nervous, just when they get too long :)

2. Something that makes me sad is: a ton of things make me sad. One thing that made me sad in the past couple days though is this post by Jana. America is so run by money, and not by caring about people, it's very sad.

3. Today I am thankful for: my God, my family, my online support, and the baby that is growing inside of me. 13 weeks tomorrow!

4. My favorite room in my house is: well, since we live with my parents, I'll have to say that my and Mr. Skinny's room is my favorite room because that's ours. Second though would have to be the kitchen since the kitchen table is where we all sit and talk daily.


5. If I had an extra $100 to spend on whatever I wanted today I would: Considering I just bought a slew of maternity clothes and I don't really need anything, I'd probably put it toward bills, but I will saw the pair of Bearpaws I've been eyeing up for Christmas sound good, too!


6. The last person I hung out with was: Does Mr. Skinny count? I don't have many friends up here and so my family are usually the only ones I "hang out" with.
