Hi Everyone! I'm Megan and welcome to my little spot of the blog-o-verse.
I'm married to my high-school sweetheart, whom I affectionately call Mr. Skinny. And he is skinny!
We got married in December 2009, right in the middle of my junior year of college. Once we got married we moved down to Maryland from our hometown in Northeastern PA so that I could finish school. We had our highs and lows, 3 months of me working at my internship full time so I could support us, our savings went down the drain while Mr. Skinny tried to find a job. Eventually, he found one. Once we got on top of our bills again, I wanted to get serious about loosing weight and getting healthy. I joined Weight Watchers after a bout with them the summer before our wedding where I lost 30 pounds, but gained it all back before the wedding anyway. I knew it worked so I joined up again.

It was a super slow battle, but I lost just about 35 pounds since joining up again in May 2010, and then switched to My Fitness Pal to track my food that way. In the meantime I've picked up running, joined a gym, learned to cook healthier foods, and eat foods I would have never thought I'd be eating.
After I graduated from college, Mr. Skinny found a job in Pennsylvania, which relocated us back to our families, and we moved in with my parents. We're really happy to be home since Maryland was never home to us. After a hiatus after my 5K in December, I've picked up running again, although it's fallen by the wayside while I'm pregnant.

Now we're ready for our next adventure in our lives, becoming parents. In July, Mr. Skinny told me he's ready to start our family after me bugging him since we got married to have a baby. You see, I was born to be a mom, and so when Mr. Skinny told me he was ready, I was so excited! After a month of trying and no go, we decided to not worry about it and give it to God.
At the end of September, after just 2 months of trying, we learned we were pregnant!
I had a pretty easy pregnancy, but my healthy habits went out the window and I gained a ton of weight. I loved my pregnant body, and came to embrace my stretch marks and changing body.

I had my baby girl, Miss Molly, on May 31, 2012 and am fully enjoying being a stay at home mom. Now I'm trying to transition back to my healthy habits that I spent so long developing.
