June.

Hello another month.

Hello to the month that holds all kinds of new and exciting changes for us (I hope), the month of summer, fresh fruit, family and friends, moving, packing and unpacking, getting settled and figuring out our lives.

We started packing last night. All my precious moments are packed. My hutch is empty. Our desk is empty. We took everything off the walls and packed all that. It's weird because I don't know when these boxes will be opened. Probably not for a few years, until we have our house. It's really strange to think about, especially the pictures. We might not open these until we after we start our family.

We have to divide the boxes up into boxes that are coming with us to my parents house, and boxes that are going to be stored in my in-laws attic until we have a spot for them, most likely not until we have a house. It's a process, that's for sure.

I told our landlord we were moving, and he expected it. Anyways, this was supposed to be a happy post, not a rambling one. Sorry about that.

I applied for a few jobs yesterday, I'm hoping I hear from one soon. We'll be able to save a lot of money living with my parents, and get back on our feet. Start putting money toward our house and retirement.

I'm excited about what this month is going to bring and to see what kinds of things God has in store for us. I'll hopefully blog more frequently too. Sorry about that!

Happy June!

  1. Moving is so stressful! You sound upbeat about it, so that's great!
