confessional is finished, now looking at today and this week

Since I completed my confessional for my fun, but so so weight watcher-wise weekend, I though I would start fresh with this week's plan.

Hubby and I didn't get back home until 11:30 last night, and he's in construction, so he needed to be up at 4:30 this morning. I talked to him already, and he said that he's doing okay, but he's going to bed early tonight. He's such a great guy, he knows I didn't do so well this weekend food wise, so he said we can go for a run tonight, even though he's dead tired! Oh man, am I blessed to have this wonderful man in my life, helping me every step of the way.

Anyways, because we got home so late last night, we couldn't go food shopping. We normally do our food shopping over the weekend so that hubby can come with me and help me carry the groceries up to our 3rd story appt, up the rickety, rusty stairs. Since we didn't go food shopping, I'll be making salmon and baked potatoes tonight for dinner. I'll probably just make bag of broccoli for the veggies.

This morning for breakfast, I had two pieces of WW toast with this new peanut butter my aunt (who's on WW) introduced me to. It's called PB2, and it's ground up peanuts, which you just have to mix with water and it's SO WW friendly. I can tell it's NOT pb, but it's a pretty good sub. for it. I had a little jelly on my toast, too, and 1/2 c of my V8 fusion juice.

I grabbed a Lean Cuisine for lunch, which is 5 pts., my Fiber One strawberry yogurt, which is awesomely good and 0 points! I grabbed 1 c. of watermelon, too. For my 10am and after work snacks, I have 1/4 c. of trail mix, which is 4 points all together, but I LOVE trail mix.

Tomorrow I'll be going to the doctors, boo, and going grocery shopping for us for this week. Hubby does the checkbook and pays the bills - I'm terrible with math, even with a calculator! - and so my job is to pick out cheap recipes. Hubby and I will be going to the beach the last week of July, and he'll be taking off two work days without pay since he just started 4 months ago and doesn't get any vacation days until he's there one year. So we'll be losing around $100, so I have to try to save that in food, tons of fun. If anyone knows any cheap WW friendly recipes, please let me know!

All in all, today I'm borrowing 1.5 points from my weeklies for today, which I really shouldn't do because I probably used them all already, but anyways, we're starting fresh today.
